The Prime geometry has been adjusted for a more aggressive body position and
better weight distribution to match the slacker head angle and increased travel

    – Longer top tube and reach in all sizes.

    – 0.5deg slacker head angle

    – Longer head tube on larger frames

    – Splined ISCG tabs (like 2015 Darkside)

    – Lower Standover

    – Improved cable routing

    – Refined shock mount

    – Introduction of Rock Shox Monarch Plus option

The Prime features Banshee's all-new KS Link suspension platform that is a very supple design due to zero pivot resistance and very little DU bushing rotation as a result of direct shock actuation. KS Link gives the rider better traction thanks to the suspension’s ability to react faster to changes in the riding surface and also results in a smoother overall ride. The Prime is extremely stiff and responsive due to the short one-piece forged linkages used and has a low centre of gravity for superior cornering and control. The fully sealed, oversized bearings, combined with the low pivot loads that the KS link achieves result in a very low maintenance system. Banshee have worked extensively with Fox and Cane Creek to offer custom tuned shocks specifically optimized for the Prime.

The Prime also features Banshee's new modular dropout system which offer 3-position adjustable geometry. The dropouts utilize ‘flip chips’ to alter the head angle in half degree increments and also change the BB height in quarter inch increments. Dropouts are available in 135 quick release, 142 x 12mm bolt thru & 150 x 12mm bolt thru.

Other features include a 44/56mm tapered head tube, which allows the use of a zero stack lower headset cup, even with a tapered fork steerer for reduced stack height. There are also ISCG05 chainguide mounts, a Low Direct Mount S3 front derailleur and cable guides for dropper posts. Chain and seat stays are internally ribbed for increased stiffness & 7005 T6 aluminum is used throughout with custom hydroformed tubes and forgings.

135mm rear travel When combined with 29" wheels this is is what we found to be the optimal travel for hard enduro style riding
29" Wheels The frame can accomodate up to 29x2.5" tires
Adjustable geometry 3 positions with a flip of the chips - Slack and low, neutral, higher and steeper
Short Chainstays 17.4-17.6" chainstay length to optimise weight distribution and make the bike fun and nimble
Taper Headtube 44mm ¦ 56mm   (1.125" zero stack top, 1.5" zero stack bottom) allows angle sets ad tapered forks
Hydroformed 7005 AL tubes Increases strength and stiffness, and reduces weight
ISCG2005 Latest standard in ISCG for chainguide mounting
New KS Link suspension Optimised suspension kinematics for a fast, efficient and fun ride
Configurable dropouts Choose between 10x135, 12x142, or 12x150 standards for your rear hub
Front derailleur Compatible Uses SRAM S3 low direct mount system
Full length seat tube Maximum saddle height adjustibility
Internal ribbed stays Increase stiffness for railing berms and holding lines through the roughest of trail sections, as well as increasing pedal efficiency
Aggressive geometry Slack angles paired with frame anti-squat keeps speed going down and the front end planted on steeper climbs
Fully Sealed bearings High Quality fully sealed bearings used throughout to minimise maintenance required.
